Indian summer

September 22, 2008

Finally it seems the Indian summer is here. We had a terrible last week even we had to switch on the heater at the beginning of September.

This afternoon I was walking in the light sunshine that remembered me our long walk with Berci. Every afternoon he was waiting for me at the door. After I arrived home I had no choice he was ’singing’ in the garden so we had to leave immediatelly. :) Walking in the fresh air and smelling the yellow trees are my sweet memories from Berci. I’ve spent a lot of time with him he was my friend and my sportmate.

Just so tragic that I could not say good bye to him.

Old moments

March 8, 2007

The spring is arrived in my home. I love so much when blossoms are smelling and the wind is so soft and warm. I just remembered today that I missed this time last year. In Prague the spring was totally different. There was too windy therefore it was impossible to enjoy it. The sunshine was not enough, you have to take a deep breath to feel that everything is living again after the winter. All of theses things remember me my childhood when everything was so lovely. I would be nice to go back with 15 years and forget all of troubles. I think it could be the best medicine that was ever found in the world.

I try to catch these moments now. So I just walking with Berci in the streets and dreaming. ^_^

After 2 exams (I passed both, cooool!), today I had a holiday. Our two little cousins just left the house. They are full of energy. The lovely photos:

Karneval

August 20, 2006

The 20th August is the feast of the state-foundation in Hungary. Debrecen is famous for its Karneval of the flowers. About 20 cars are driving along the main street and presenting episodes from the Hungarian history or other well-known figures. All these are made of flowers, leaves and wood. This is also a great show with ‘flag-throwers’, majorette groups, and dancers from Europe. It was a bit hard to take pictures about moving things in the dark. You can check it . . .

The feast of the first bread

August 13, 2006

In the Hajdúság (North-East Hungary) the feast of the first bread after the harvest is on 13rd August. Today the main street in Hajdúböszörmény was open only for pedestrians. It was full of little bakery stalls from every town of the region and also from Erdély. The traditional breads made of different kind of corns, special breads and cakes were offered. To close the day the Bocskai folk dance group presented Hungarian dances. My pictures are on Flickr.

My Birthday Cake

August 12, 2006

This evening I will turn to my 23 years. I don’t know if it is too much or not. Yesterday I thought I am already 23 and what I reached, not much. In other hands the shopgirl mixed the candles so I was happy to say: “Excuse me, I am just 23 not 28!” ^_^
