My first Baobab

August 24, 2008

My first Baobab baby is in his earth now! I put the 2 small seeds in warm water for 24 hours while the strongest one started to swell up. This morning I replaced the water with dissolved coco earth. Perfect substrate for a young, vulnerable seed.

My palm seeds are in the artificial greenhouse (plastic bag with moist sand) for a couple of days untill they product their first white roots. I can’t wait to see them! ^^

New videos on my VodPod

June 20, 2007

I put 2 new videos to my Vodpod collection. Both were taken in my grandma’s garden. Since last month her garden is full with little babies. (see others on Flickr) My preferred are the ducks. It is so nice to see how the duck mum is taking care of her little kids. Now they are pretty old and confident in what they want. (Look at the video!)

What a beautiful begining of a day

Little families from my Grandma’s garden

May 30, 2007

Some weeks ago I uploaded pictures about little yellow ducks on Flickr. Now they are teenagers and very curious about everything.

Alfred, the Duck

Since I visited my grandma, her garden is full with young animals. After the ducks, the rabbits had also little babies. One are really small and they are still blind. The other group are a bit older and their mum let me to touch them. She examined me and my camera carefully and she did not find me dangeorus. I cannot say the same about the duck mum. When I went too close she guided her littles far from me. (Good, she did not want to attack like like last time!)

After eclipse

March 4, 2007

Last night from 22.30 (in GMT+1) there was a full moon eclipse in Europe. Of course it was raining all the day till night. I missed the eclipse last night but I try to show how beautiful is without the shadow of the Earth. (for the eclipse click here!)

Last shining day

November 18, 2006

At times the autumn comes back only for a couple of hours to leave his taste here. This day was like this. I could not study, instead I went with my petite family to the warm bath. Our bath is still under construction, but there is a better one in the neighbouring town. 2 of the outside pools were filled up with warm water. One was for swimming (around noon was so special without any people!) and the other one for relaxing with 38 C°.

It was so good not thinking about the school and work. But it could not have been perfect without You!

Bad news – STORM

August 21, 2006

So much people was not so lucky as we in Debrecen. Because of the great storm in the capital already 4 people died and more than 100 are in hospital. In fact the leaders knew about the catastroph around 8, but they did not want to cancel it. The wind was 120km/hour strong on the riverside where thousands of people were waiting for the fire show. What does it mean? Should we change, shouldn’t?

Moon pictures again

August 8, 2006

I hope I don’t bore you too much, my sweet blog-reader. Tonight our house is taking a moon-bath. It made me to take some pictures again! Comments are welcome!

The moon at 6th August

August 6, 2006

Somebody said there is face of the moon. Tonight the sky is so clear so I tried to read what is on his face. It is kind of mystic, but I could see that he is wondering. Unfortunately I cannot show it on my picture.
